Martinez, who followed Cubs manager Joe Maddon from Tampa Bay, worked under current Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman while with the Rays.
The report indicates that the Dodgers will narrow their search down to three candidates after interviewing Martinez at the General Manager Meetings.
Among the reported candidates who have already been interviewed for the position are Bud Black, Kirk Gibson, Dave Roberts, Darin Erstad, and in-house candidates Tim Wallach, Ron Roenicke, and Gabe Kapler.
