The Orioles lineup will definitely have some power in 2016. Baltimore agreed to a one-year, $5.75 million deal with veteran infielder Pedro Alvarez, FOX Sports MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal confirmed.

Alvarez hit .243 with 27 homers and 77 RBI in 150 games last season with the Pirates. Alvarez, who spent his first six years in the big leagues with in Pittsburgh, led the NL in homers in 2013.
Alvarez played predominately first base in 2015 but with the Orioles re-signing Chris Davis, Alvarez most likely will be the Orioles designated hitter. The Orioles lineup won't lack power with Alvarez, Davis, Manny Machado, Adam Jones, Mark Trumbo and Matt Wieters on the roster.
