Orioles activate RHP Tillman, send down Navarro

The Baltimore Orioles have activated right-hander Chris Tillman from the 15-day disabled list and optioned infielder Yamaico Navarro to Triple-A Norfolk.

Tillman was placed on the DL on March 28 with an abdominal strain. He was slated to start Saturday night for Baltimore against the Minnesota Twins.

Navarro was sent back to Norfolk after a 1-day stay with the Orioles. He was recalled from the minor league club on Friday after Baltimore placed second baseman Brian Roberts on the 15-day disabled list. Navarro did not play in the Orioles' 9-5 win over the Twins.
