Marlins reportedly still looking to add rotation help

Even after signing Wei-Yin Chen to a five-year deal, the Miami Marlins are reportedly still looking to add to the rotation.

According to Joe Frisaro of MLB.com, they're looking for a veteran pitcher:

"With the pitching market thinning out, the Marlins remain open to adding another starter or perhaps a reliever, but the club is leaning toward signing candidates who would accept a Minor League deal with a Spring Training invitation. Miami hasn't closed the door on signing a pitcher to a guaranteed big league contract, but in order to do so, the team wants to be absolutely certain the player is healthy."

Frisaro goes on to note that the team will scout Cliff Lee and Tim Lincecum in their upcoming workouts, but will likely pass.

Miami has a strong chance to be a dark horse team this season. Along with the aforementioned Chen, Jose Fernandez will be healthy to lead the rotation. They should also get a healthy Giancarlo Stanton to start the year, spearheading a lineup full of young, talented players.
