Kang to have increased role with Harrison on DL

Josh Harrison's injury was terrible news for the Pirates, but it will provide Jung Ho Kang with an opportunity.
With Harrison sidelines, Kang will have an expanded role on the Pirates roster and he believes the new role – as the everyday third baseman – will benefit his development.

"The more games I play, the more confidence I get," Kang told Pirates.com through interpreter H.K. Kim. "Definitely benefit [from regular playing time]."
The increased playing time comes as a direct result of Harrison's injury, but Kang isn't worried on the injury and instead is simply focusing on what he can do to help the Pirates.
