Jose Fernandez reportedly 'not available' in trade talks with Marlins

Despite reports that Jose Fernandez has demanded a trade (multiple times) from the Miami Marlins, it doesn't look like the front office will look to deal the talented righty.
According to a report from the New York Post, the team isn't making him available in any trades:
"Executives from a few teams in the market for high-end starting pitching have told me Jose Fernandez is not currently available."
Even more, Fernandez's agent Scott Boras said that he talked to Marlins president Mike Hill when the negative stories surfaced and he affirmed the team's stance on 23-year-old ace.
“(Hill) told me he is looking forward to Jose being their No. 1 pitcher (in 2016)," Boras said. He was very pleased with Jose’s rehab and the fact he pitched so well (after Tommy John surgery) in the big leagues. He looks forward to (Fernandez) performing at a high level for the Marlins next year and that we will have continued dialogue in the future.”
As the Post notes, of course, don't count anything out with the Marlins, who have a history of dealing just about anybody from their roster.
Fernandez will head into 2016 as his first full season following Tommy John surgery. In 11 starts in 2015, Fernandez went 6-1 with a 2.92 ERA, striking out 79 across 64 2/3 innings.
