Jason Kipnis caps off incredible month by crediting his teammates

Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis put up some amazing numbers during the month of May.

Kipnis notched 51 hits and 30 runs in 29 games last month, putting him in an exclusive club with some of baseball's most impressive names.

So what did Kipnis have to say about his incredible month? He credited his teammates, of course:

Kipnis looks like a shoo-in for MLB's Player of the Month award for May, with Texas Rangers slugger Prince Fielder as his only legitimate competition.

And there's no doubt Kipnis is well on his way to making his second All-Star team.
