NEW YORK (AP) The New York Yankees say injured outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is set to be activated before Wednesday night's game against Oakland.

The AL East leaders made the announcement Monday.

Ellsbury has been on the 15-day disabled list since May 20 because of a sprained right knee.

Ellsbury was hitting .324 with 14 steals, and had scored 29 runs in 37 games when he was injured.

The 31-year-old Ellsbury has played four rehabilitation games for Class A Tampa and isn't scheduled to play again in the minors. He took part in simulated game activities Monday and is set to do that again Tuesday.
