The Indians survived a late push from the Red Sox on Monday night, taking Game 3 of the ALDS 4–3 to complete a three-game sweep and advance to the ALCS.

Coco Crisp hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning to put the Indians up 4–1, which proved to be the difference. Andrew Miller came on in relief of Josh Tomlin and threw two scoreless innings, giving the ball to Bryan Shaw, who yielded one run, and Cody Allen, who earned the save.

Tomlin earned the win, going five innings and allowing two runs on four hits and a walk.
