In Denver, comedian Breuer, Mets faithful enjoy NL East clinching

Jerry Seinfeld isn't the only comedian who's a Mets fan.
In fact, you probably won't find a more avid fan — in or out of show business — than Jim Breuer, the actor/comedian and former "Saturday Night Live" cast member.
Breuer, who has documented his fandom online via social media and his website, was performing in Denver last weekend, at the same time that the Mets could clinch the National League East. Of course, he wanted to watch, preferably among other Mets fans.
So, on Saturday, Breuer posted a video on his Facebook page telling everyone where he would be to watch. His Denver area followers and fellow Mets fans took note, and an enthusiastic group gathered to cheer as the Mets won and secured their first playoff berth in nine years. They chanted, "Let's go, Mets!" and sang the praises of Lucas Duda, who hit a grand slam in New York's 10-2 victory at Cincinnati.
