Giants with a chance for winningest month in over 50 years

The Giants have been hot of late. They are 24-10 since April 15, and 19-7 in the month of May. Their record this May has been so good that the team actually has a chance for it’s winningest month in quite some time, according to Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News.
Baggarly notes that a split of the final series of the month, a four-game series with the Braves, would give them 21 wins in a month for the first time since September, 1965. Three or four wins would give the Giants the most wins in a month since the New York Giants went 24-4 in June, 1954.
