Pete Rose enjoyed a milestone moment in his life after baseball Tuesday night, returning to the All-Star Game and receiving a raucous ovation from his longtime fans in Cincinnati.

After the cheers, however, MLB on FOX insider Ken Rosenthal asked the hit king the tough questions about his chances at reinstatement and his hopes.

"There's a chance you might not be reinstated. There's a chance you might not ever get to the Hall of Fame. Will this night have been enough?" Rosenthal asked Rose.

"I'm just happy that he's willing to review my status," Rose said, referring to commissioner Rob Manfred. "And when I sit down with him I'll him everything I did as a player and as a manager and we'll go from there."

Rosenthal then asked Rose what he thinks his odds of reinstatement are, leading to a playful slap from Rose, who balked at making odds.

"I'm a good guy," Rose said. "I'm not the same guy I was 29 years ago."
