Joc Pederson swings hard. He often misses, but when the Dodgers rookie connects he can send the ball a long way.

Pederson connected for home runs on Tuesday in both games of the Dodgers’ doubleheader against in Denver.

Both homers were more than 470 feet and are among the 10 longest this season in Major League Baseball. The first of his homers was pulled into the right field second deck at Coors Field at a distance of 477 feet, according to Statcast. Pederson’s second long ball was hit the other way toward left-center and carried for a distance of 472 feet.

Pederson, a left-handed hitter, hit the first of his two homers off a left-handed pitcher. Per MLB.com, Pederson touted his ability to hit lefties to reporters after the game:

"You guys are the ones who say I can't hit lefties," Pederson said. "I hit them fine last year. I guess you guys can tell me.”

Pederson has hit a homer in four straight games and is tied for second in baseball with 16 round-trippers.
