In another move that certainly won't grab much attention, the Los Angeles Dodgers added to their bullpen on Friday.

The team announced that is has acquired left-hander Tyler Olson from the Seattle Mariners for cash considerations or a player to be named later. To make room for Olson on the roster, the Dodgers designated right-hander Daniel Reynolds for assignment.

The 26-year-old Olson made his major-league debut with the Mariners last season, compiling a 5.40 ERA and .346 opponent average with eight strikeouts and 10 walks in 13 1/3 innings over 11 appearances.

While he's untested at the major-league level, Olson, who was drafted by the Mariners in the seventh round of the 2013 amateur draft, has posted a 17-17 record with a 3.86 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in 256 2/3 innings over 70 outings in three years in the minors, 41 of which were starts.

The Dodgers' deal with the Mariners comes on the heels of a nixed deal with free-agent starter Hisashi Iwakuma after he failed a physical exam. He was then re-signed by Seattle.
