Diamondbacks LF Peralta leaves game with wrist injury

Published Oct. 1, 2015 11:01 p.m. ET

PHOENIX (AP) Arizona Diamondbacks left fielder David Peralta injured his right wrist going for a catch of a sinking line drive in the fourth inning, and later left Thursday night's game against the Colorado Rockies.

The wrist on Peralta's glove hand was bent back as he hit the ground, and the ball popped out for a run-scoring double for Rafael Ynoa to give the Rockies a 3-2 lead.

Peralta was checked by a trainer but finished the inning, only to be replaced by a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the fourth.
