David Ortiz passes Mickey Mantle for 17th on all-time home run list against the Yankees

During the Boston Red Sox's dramatic, come-from-behind victory vs. the New York Yankees on Thursday night -- Red Sox legend David Ortiz passed Mickey Mantle on the all-time home run list (17th) when he blasted this 8th inning solo home run, the 537th of his career, off of Adam Warren:

If the devastating loss for the Yankees wasn't harsh enough, it happened the same night that one of the franchise's most memorable sluggers got passed by a Boston Red Sox player on one of baseball's most prestigious lists. 

Rough night to be wearing pinstripes.
