Michael Cuddyer has extended his hitting streak to 27 games with an RBI single in the eighth inning Sunday of the Colorado Rockies' game against the San Francisco Giants.

He hit a 2-1 pitch from Sandy Rosario up the middle, and later scored on a double by Willin Rosario.

Cuddyer's streak is the longest in Rockies' history and in the majors this season. He has reached base safely in a franchise-record 46 straight games.
