Cubs receive good injury news

For the first time since he sprained his ankle and was placed on the disabled list, Jorge Soler took batting practice.

The Cubs outfielder, according to Cubs.com, is no longer wearing a protective boot on his foot.

Additionally, Mike Olt began a rehab assignment on Friday.

Olt has been sidelined since April 15 with a fracture in his right wrist.
