Ace Clayton Kershaw is set to head to camp this week as the Dodgers begin their quest for a fifth consecutive NL West title.

And the left-hander is happy to report that the heavy lifting of another successful offseason is complete – thanks to an assist from his personal trainer.

Kershaw was dominant (1.68 ERA, 10.4 K/9, 0.73 WHIP) again when he was on the mound last season, but he was limited to 21 starts because of a back injury that sidelined him from late June through early September.

From the looks of things, his back is healthy and his flexibility will not be an issue – thanks to his trainer.
