Check out MLB's special uniforms for summer holidays
Major League Baseball revealed Wednesday special uniform and cap designs for four summer holidays this season, including Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. The league also unveiled the design for this year's MLB All-Star Game apparel.
It's the first year that MLB will celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day with specially designed gear. In previous years, players wore jerseys with pink ribbon patches, and many chose to wear pink wristbands and cleats on Mother's Day. But this year, they will sport jerseys with pink team insignias, numbers and lettering, in addition to caps with pink team logos.

The Father's Day jerseys and caps will feature light blue logos and accents.

Teams will wear updated versions of camouflage jerseys and caps for Memorial Day, while the Toronto Blue Jays will wear apparel based on the Canadian Military's uniforms.

Independence Day gear will feature new star-patterned lettering, logos and insignias with American flags on the jersey sleeves.

With this year's All-Star Game being held at Petco Park in San Diego, the workout and Home Run Derby gear will pay tribute to the retro Padres' uniforms from the 1980s. American League jerseys will be gold with brown retro lettering and National League Jerseys will be brown with gold accents. Caps will be brown and white with gold brims and orange lettering.

MLB worked with Majestic and New Era on the holiday-related apparel, which will also be available for purchase. The league will donate licensed uniform royalties to the following charitable foundations:

Stand Up 2 Cancer: Mother's Day and Father's Day
Welcome Back Veterans: Memorial Day and Independence Day
Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services' Support Our Troops Fund: Blue Jays' Memorial Day uniforms
