Brandon Phillips' 2-year-old son is already pretty darn good at baseball

Before the Reds-Dodgers game on Monday, Cincinnati's second baseman Brandon Phillips brought his son to the field for some practice where he proved he has skills far beyond your average 2-year-old (video above.)

With his dad pitching, the youngster Micah hit a live pitch past the mound and appears to know how to bunt as well. It certainly helps that he has a 3-time All-Star second baseman for a father and MLB facilities at his disposal, but I'm pretty sure I could barely walk in a striaght line at age 2.

Of course, the young Phillips is not immune to the pitfalls of sprinting to first base with still-developing motor skills. But kids like dirt, so all is well.
