DENVER (AP) Right-hander Archie Bradley was recalled from Triple-A Reno by the Arizona Diamondbacks to start Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies.

Bradley was 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA in five starts this season for Reno. In his lone appearance for the Diamondbacks this season, he allowed five runs and seven hits in 4 1/3 innings against San Francisco on April 18.

Bradley, 25, sustained a right sinus fracture when he was struck by a line drive off the bat of Colorado outfielder Carlos Gonzalez on April 28 last year.

Arizona opened a roster spot Sunday by optioning right-hander Erique Burgos to Reno.
