The Boston Red Sox have signed a pair of their 2015 MLB Draft picks, sixth-round pick Travis Lakins and 20th-rounder Yomar Valentin.

Valentin, who hails from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy, is a 5-foor-8, 145-pound switch-hitting shortstop.

Lakins, who was drafted out of Ohio State University, is a 6-foot-1, is a right-handed pitcher who went 4-4 with a 3.75 ERA in 15 starts this past spring.

Boston has now signed each of their 14 picks within the first 15 rounds and 26 of the 39 players they drafted in June.
