Angels' Trout exits game in 2nd inning with back troubles

HOUSTON — Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout has left early because of more trouble with his back.

Trout exited in the second inning of Tuesday night's game at Houston. He had missed the previous two games with stiffness in his upper back.

Trout started in center field against the Astros and struck out in the first inning. He was replaced by Collin Cowgill in the middle of the second inning.

Trout entered the game hitting .294 with 11 homes and 38 RBI.
