Angels bid farewell to Navarro after trade to Orioles
Earlier in the week, the Los Angeles Angels designated outfielder/first baseman Efren Navarro for assignment.
The move was made to free up roster space for recently-signed reliever Al Alburquerque, and as expected Navarro didn't clear waivers.
On Tuesday, it was announced by Jon Morosi of FOX Sports that the Halos had dealt Navarro to the Baltimore Orioles for cash considerations:

Shortly after the news broke, several Angels personalities weighed in on the trade, and judging by their comments it was evident Navarro was a well-liked player on the team. Director of communications Eric Kay and Angels broadcasters Mark Gubicza and Victor Rojas were among the personnel wishing Navarro well (as did the Los Angeles Times' Mike DiGiovanna back when he was DFA'd):
Wish nothing but the best for Efren Navarro. Was nothing but an absolute pro during his time with #Angels. Never complained about a thing.

Wishing Efren Navarro all the best in Baltimore. One of the nicest guys I've met in the game! @Orioles @Angels

Always enjoyed covering Efren Navarro with #Angels. Class act and a real versatile player who will help someone.

Never understood why Efren Navarro didn't get more playing time in LF when Matt Joyce was struggling so much last season. #Angels

Navarro, 29 and from Lynwood, California, appeared in 130 games for the Angels from 2011 to 2015, with 2014's total of 64 games being his career-high to date.
In 280 official at-bats, Navarro owns a line of .246/.303/.324.
