Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

Taking a look at the news surrounding the Cleveland Indians and the rest of the MLB on the morning of September 6, 2016.

Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona rode with his bullpen Monday night, but the defense let the pitchers down in a 6-2 loss against the Houston Astros.

The Indians had eight players pitch in the loss, but two errors, along with only two runs on offense, put the pitchers in a tough spot.

The “bullpen day” came as a result of Josh Tomlin’s struggles, although he did pitch an inning of relief, pitching a scoreless ninth.

The Indians should be given a great chance to win tonight when Corey Kluber takes the mound, as Dallas Keuchel will miss his scheduled start. Let’s take a look at that news and more in today’s edition of A.M. Wahoo’s.
