Pulis: Potters are learning

In the seven Premier League weekends after a European tie the

Potters have won just once and lost four times. Pulis’ side have

had to cover thousands of miles going to Ukraine, Israel and Turkey

in their group matches but this Thursday they are at home needing a

draw to ensure they qualify for the next stage. But despite making

changes for Europe the knock-on effect has been felt domestically

and Pulis wants that to alter. “You have to understand their

workload and we have played 10 more midweek games than most teams

in the Premier League,” he said. “You have to deal with it and work

with it. “At the moment we have not dealt with it very well in

respect of the third game (in a week) and we have to make sure if

we can get it right we will.”
