Mancini wants to stay at City for many years
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says he wants to stay at
the club for ”many years.”
City is currently top of the Premier League after winning seven
and drawing one of its opening eight games – its best start to a
season since 1897.
Mancini’s contract at City runs until the end of next season and
he says ”it is not important” that discussions about an extension
have yet to begin.
Mancini says he ”would like to stay here but in football every
week it can change,” adding ”If you lose two or three games, that
can change all – but we are working well.”
City’s next game is against Villarreal in the Champions League
on Tuesday, with Mancini hoping to guide his side to its first win
in its debut campaign in Europe’s top club competition.
