Liverpool, Tottenham and Aston Villa all attempted to prise Adam away from Blackpool in January and there are is likely to be a similar clamour to land the Scot when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
Holloway, though, is tired of talking about his skipper’s future.
"I’m sick of the Charlie Adam show. We’ve got him on a contract for next year," Holloway told the Daily Star.
"Everybody’s in the market, and if people don’t pay us respect and don’t pay us the right amount of money, Charlie won’t be going anywhere.
"If they liked him that much they should have bought him when I did.
"If anybody wants him, they know he’s got one year left on his contract and they had better offer us a damned sight more than they insulted us with in January.
"He’s one of the six best players in this league according to his fellow players (who voted him on to the shortlist for PFA Player of the Year) and that speaks volumes."
