Bisevac: No PSG regrets

The Serbia international was a victim of the Parisians’ summer

recruitment programme which has seen the likes of Brazil star

Thiago Silva arrive from AC Milan with less heralded names, such as

Bisevac, sacrificed.

The 28-year-old has welcomed his move to the Stade Gerland,

however, and defended his decision to join PSG from Valenciennes 12

months ago.

“I have no regrets,” he said, in remarks reported by France

Football. “Everything is positive.

“I gave everything for PSG and their fans. I never cheated them.

I can walk past anyone and look them in the eye.”

Bisevac was equally positive when it came to joining Lyon.

“I am happy to be here. I arrive with great desire and will give

everything for the club,” he said.

Bisevac impressed on his debut against Evian on Friday – the

match finishing in a 1-1 draw – and is looking to maintain that

form over the coming months.

He added: “(Qualifying for) the Champions League is our goal but

it will not be easy this year as there is lots of competition. It

will be even tighter than last season but Lyon are capable of doing

it.”
