Berwick holds Rangers to 1-1 draw

Rangers failed to clinch its first away win in the fourth tier

of Scottish football after drawing at Berwick 1-1 on Sunday.

Rangers took the lead just before half time through Andy Little

but Fraser McLaren leveled for Berwick in the 62nd minute at

Shielfield Park with a tightly angled shot inside the penalty

area.

Rangers, which was plunged into liquidation and forced into

Division Three, has five points from three games including two away

draws.

On Saturday, Celtic won at Inverness 4-2 in the Scottish Premier

League, with Tony Watt scoring twice for the defending

champion.

Later Sunday, Aberdeen plays Hearts and Motherwell faces St

Mirren in the SPL.
