Daelen Alexander - Logs pop-up DNP Alexander (undisclosed) did not appear in Saturday's 24-17 win over UAB.
Impact Alexander has yet to miss a game this season for the Owls, so his pop-up inactive status comes as a surprise. The 5-foot-10 running back will now luckily have a bye week to get back to full health from his unknown injury before a showing against North Texas on Nov. 22.

Ryan Guillo - Idle in Week 11 Guillo (undisclosed) didn't play in Saturday's 24-17 win over UAB.
Impact Guillo was considered questionable ahead of Saturday's game, and he wound up remaining on the sidelines. The wideout has caught both of his targets this season, totaling 15 yards. His next chance to play will come Oct. 22 against North Texas.

Ryder Burton - Listed as starter Burton is listed as UAB's starting quarterback ahead of Saturday's game at Rice, Steve Irvine of BhamBanner.com reports.
Impact Burton will take over as the Blazers' starter Saturday after throwing for 209 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions after replacing Jalen Kitna against UConn last week. Burton also started against Memphis in Week 8, in place of an injured Kitna, completing 74.1 percent of his passes for 251 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in an upset victory.

Impact Kitna was pulled in Week 10's loss to UConn, so his benching in Week 11 is not a total surprise. Ryder Burton will lead the offense against the Owls.

Braylen Walker - Sitting out again Saturday Walker (undisclosed) will not play Saturday versus UAB, per the AAC availability report.
Impact Walker has missed all but three games this season due to injury, and Saturday will mark another absence for the junior wideout. With only two more contests left during the regular season, it's quite possible the junior wideout will only log action in one more contest to preserve a redshirt in 2025.
