Jacob Zeno - DNP for Memphis gameZeno (shoulder) did not play during UAB's 53-18 loss Saturday at Memphis.
ImpactUAB's website classifies Zeno as a redshirt senior, meaning he has two more regular-season games before his college career comes to a close. The first is scheduled for Nov. 23 against Rice.

Kam Shanks - Scores in Saturday's lossShanks caught all five targets for 45 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 53-18 loss versus Memphis.
ImpactShanks had a solid day Saturday as he found the end zone in the second quarter on a 10-yard reception. It marked his sixth touchdown of the season, five of which have come in the last three games. Shanks has been very involved in the offense since Jalen Kitna took over, and there are no signs of that changing during the last two games of the season.

Amare Thomas - Another high volume outingThomas totaled eight receptions (on 11 targets) for 68 yards during Saturday's 53-18 loss to Memphis.
ImpactThomas saw 11 targets Saturday, his sixth straight game with nine or more targets. He also caught eight passes for the third time in his last four games. Although he failed to score a touchdown in his second consecutive game, he proved once again that his floor is very high.

Lee Beebe Jr. - Quiet in blowout lossBeebe posted 12 carries for 42 yards and reeled in 2 of 4 targets for 16 yards during Saturday's 53-18 loss versus Memphis.
ImpactBeebe once again led the Blazers' backfield Saturday, however he was not able to get much going as his team was completely outmatched. He still gained a solid 58 yards, but his inability to find the end zone hurt his performance significantly. He faces two somewhat favorable matchups to end the season, starting Saturday versus Rice.

Jalen Kitna - Shaky in blowout lossKitna completed 27 of 43 passes for 253 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday's 53-18 defeat against Memphis. He also had five rushes for -13 yards.
ImpactKitna committed three turnovers Saturday, the third time in his six starts he has committed three turnovers. Although it's difficult to forget his 400-yard, six-touchdown performance versus Tulsa in Week 10, it appears that was an anomaly. He will look to bounce back Saturday versus Rice.

Roc Taylor - Quiet in blowout winTaylor notched four receptions (on six targets) for 28 yards during Saturday's 53-18 victory over UAB.
ImpactDespite his team putting up 53 points Saturday, Taylor had another quiet outing Saturday. He gained just 28 yards, his second-fewest this season, and failed to see double-digit targets for the first time since Week 7. Next up he faces a difficult matchup in the regular season finale on Thanksgiving at Tulane.
