Alex Bauman - Won't play vs Rice Bauman (undisclosed) won't play against Rice, per Isaac Popper of the Fear The Wave Collective.
Impact Bauman reportedly avoided a serious injury and was close to being able to play this week, but the tight end will ride the sideline for the first time this season. In his stead, Reggie Brown will lead the way for Tulane at tight end.

Shazz Preston - Set to debut Saturday Preston will be available Saturday versus Rice, Garland Gillen of WVUE-TV reports.
Impact Preston is set to make his much anticipated Tulane debut Saturday. He has missed the first six games of the season due to a nagging hamstring injury after transferring in from Alabama during the offseason. It will be interesting to see how he fits into the Green Wave's offense that has been rolling with Darian Mensah under center.
