Holden Geriner - Not starting versus Boston College Geriner is not starting Saturday at Boston College, Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Impact Geriner struggled in last week's loss to North Carolina, throwing two interceptions and zero touchdowns. He split first team reps with Corey Dailey in practice during the week, and now the true freshman will make his career first start over Geriner. Geriner is set to be the backup quarterback, but still could see some action if Dailey struggles.

Corey Dailey - Starting Saturday Dailey will start at quarterback for Saturday's game at Boston College, Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Impact Dailey split first team reps during the week and will now officially replace Holden Geriner who struggled last week versus UNC. Dailey, a true freshman, will make his first collegiate start after only appearing in one game this season where he completed three of five passes for 57 yards and a touchdown versus Bucknell.

Reed Swanson - Won't play Saturday Swanson (undisclosed) will miss Saturday's game versus Pittsburgh, per the ACC availability report.

Impact Swanson will miss his second contest of the season as he tends to an undisclosed injury. The wideout has hauled in only one reception for 18 yards so far in his first season with Boston College, so his absence shouldn't significantly impact the passing attack. He will aim to return against Georgia Tech in Week 8.
