Two-time Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons has retired following a nine-year career, including eight seasons with the Denver Broncos.

Kaelan Chudzinski - Dealing with injury Chudzinski is dealing with an undisclosed injury, Kim Rankin of SI.com reports.

Impact After a practice, Boston College's head coach Bill O'Brien publicly updated Chudzinski's status. "Kaelan's working through some stuff right now," said O'Brien. "Not gonna get into details about that. We'll see how that goes throughout the summer." This is big news for a BC team that depended on Chudzinski greatly during its 2025 season, in which he logged 24 receptions (on 41 targets) for 313 yards and four touchdowns.

Impact Wilkins battled injuries all season in 2025 after transferring to Boston College from Campbell, and that limited his involvement to four catches for 113 yards. He's slated to be a bigger part of the Eagles' passing attack this fall, however, and the fact that he's back on the practice field is a big first step towards that for the wideout.

Impact During the second half of Maryland's 2025 season, Ray logged either five or fewer carries every game, six matchups. Ideally for him, transferring to Boston College is how he records more opportunities. Despite their limited sample size said half, the redshirt sophomore logged 101 rushing yards from 20 rushing attempts, 5.1 yards averaged per carry. The rate indicates that Ray can be a top back, though fellow transfer Evan Dickens will ensure stiff competition.

Evan Dickens - Signs with Boston College Dickens has signed with Boston College, according to the team's announcement Wednesday.

Impact Once again Dickens will be an ACC player. During 2023, as part of Georgia Tech, he logged 11 rushing attempts for 47 yards. After not playing the 2024 Yellow Jackets' season, Dickens transferred to Liberty, an opportunity that indicates why Boston College wanted him so much. He balled out with 229 rushing attempts for 1,339 yards (5.8 averaged per carry) and 16 touchdowns, last year's season-best for Conference USA.
