Impact Twitty secured three receptions, but his yardage total was rather pedestrian. He has managed three receptions in each of his past two games, as he has carved out a slightly larger role for himself since returning from a month-long absence due to a hand injury.

Jacquon Gibson - Makes most of opportunity Gibson reeled in all four targets for 59 yards during Saturday's 51-7 loss to Wake Forest.

Impact With a lopsided score on the board, Gibson saw a little more run in the second half with ample passing downs. He posted season highs in receptions and yardage, and it was his most in a game since Nov. 25, 2025, when he rolled up 10 grabs for 138 yards in a game for UMass against Bowling Green.

Da'Shawn Martin - Hits triple digits, serving as bright spot Martin hauled in 9 of 11 targets for 119 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 51-7 loss versus Wake Forest.

Impact The Hoos was blasted by 44 points, the second-largest margin of defeat against the Demon Deacons in the all-time series. It wasn't anything to do with Martin, as he was doing his best, including the team's lone touchdown on a scoring connection with QB1 Beau Pribula.

Impact Davis averaged just 1.0 yards per rushing attempt, and his biggest contribution was a lone 12-yard reception. The Hoos averaged just 0.8 yards per rushing attempt, or 16 rushing yards on 19 carries. Davis actually had the most carries of any UVA back, but that's not saying much. This was an ugly offensive performance all around.

Impact Holstein had an opportunity to show what he could do in the fourth quarter, and he was accurate with a solid yardage total, although Wake Forest had long since called off the dogs by that point. Still, Holstein could see time under center if QB1 Beau Pribula continues to have a tough time generating scoring drives.

Impact The Hoos suffered their second biggest loss to the Demon Deacons in the history of the series, although Pribula wasn't terrible. Eli Holstein came on in the fourth quarter, and he could get more time under center if the team continues to struggle under Pribula, although defense has really been UVA's biggest issue.
