Impact Haynes, a Georgia native, will transfer from Michigan and enroll at one of the state's best colleges. The running back's focus shifts to becoming healthy for 2026. Before his foot injury, he excelled as part of the 2025 Wolverines. Across seven games, Haynes logged 121 rushing attempts for 857 yards (7.1 averaged per carry) and 10 touchdowns. When he is healthy, the 2026 Jackets' primary runner likely will be him, even if the Yellow Jackets maintain Malachi Hosley despite his seven-touchdown 2025.

Jaylen Mbakwe - Commits to Georgia Tech Mbakwe has committed to Georgia Tech, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com reports.
Impact Mbakwe has had a quiet pair of seasons at Alabama, having drawn just four targets. The former two-way high school star -- playing wide receiver and cornerback -- will get a fresh start at Georgia Tech, and it appears as though he's considering a position change. He was rated as the second-best cornerback in the 2024 high school class.

Eric Rivers - Logs 102 receiving yards and TD Rivers notched four receptions (on 10 targets) for 102 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 25-21 defeat against Brigham Young.
Impact For only the second time in 2025, Rivers logged at least 100 receiving yards and one touchdown. Even though the wide receiver's statistical production significantly declined after his transfer from Florida International to Georgia Tech, it is worth noting that he both made a big move and still proved to be an above-average wideout. During the year, Rivers recorded 47 receptions (on 74 targets) for 671 yards and two touchdowns.

Malik Rutherford - Eight receptions for 105 yards Rutherford compiled eight receptions (on nine targets) for 105 yards during Saturday's 25-21 loss against Brigham Young.
Impact Eight is Rutherford's season-high for receptions with Georgia Tech. In only the second time during 2025, the wide receiver logged triple-digit receiving yards, which he recorded 523 of on 46 receptions. Like 2023 and 2024 before, Rutherford recorded at least 500 receiving yards and several touchdowns, and his GT career will finish with 10 TDs.

Malachi Hosley - Logs double-digit carries Hosley tallied 11 carries for 63 yards and hauled in their only target for 13 yards during Saturday's 25-21 loss versus Brigham Young.
Impact For only the fourth time in 2025, Hosley logged double-digit carries, which he recorded 98 of this year. He also registered 816 all-purpose yards (697 rushing and 119 receiving) and seven touchdowns, all rushing. Despite limited opportunities, it is safe to say that Hosley betting on a big move from Penn to Georgia Tech worked out for him.

Haynes King - Better during bowl King completed 22 of 40 passes for 270 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 25-21 defeat against Brigham Young. He also had seven rushes for 31 yards.
Impact After struggling during Georgia Tech's rivalry game with Georgia, King mostly bounced back against a relatively easier BYU team. In terms of passing, he completed 252 of 361 pass attempts for 2,967 yards and a 14-6 TD-INT ratio. The senior quarterback also logged 185 carries for 953 yards and 15 touchdowns. King recorded career-highs in passing yards and all quantitative stats for rushing.
