Impact Williams is out of eligibility, so this was something of a foregone conclusion. The receiver had a career year with the Panthers in 2025, reeling in 51 catches for 701 yards and seven scores as Pitt's top wideout. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound receiver, who began his career at FCS Western Carolina, has undoubtably intrigued several NFL scouts in his collegiate journey.

Impact Holmes was a consistent part of the Pitt offense all season, but he hadn't had a big game until the Panthers' bowl loss to East Carolina. It was the first 100-yard outing of his career, and he caps off his senior year with 28 catches for 301 yards and four touchdowns. Holmes may try to secure an extra year of eligibility, as his college career appears to be coming to a close.

Impact Heitschel was once again rough around the edges as Pittsburgh closed out its season with another loss in a bowl game. The freshman quarterback was a revelation for the Panthers this season when he took over for Eli Holstein in Week 6, and finished the year with 2,354 yards, 18 total touchdowns and eight interceptions on 63.6 percent completion. Still, he closed the year out with two iffy performances and still has some growing to do as he develops as a collegiate passer. Nonetheless, Heintschel has established himself as one of the better young quarterbacks in the nation and should have Pitt positioned to compete in the ACC once again in 2026.

Impact For only the third time in 2025, and across Pittsburgh's last five games, Turner logged more than 100 all-purpose yards, showcasing significant progress he made during an excellent 2025. The running back recorded 140 rushing attempts for 745 yards (5.3 averaged per carry) and seven touchdowns. Turner also logged 25 receptions for 150 yards, falling just five short of 900 in all-purpose yardage this year.

Impact Reid declared for the 2026 NFL Draft earlier in December, but his status for Pittsburgh's bowl game was not certain immediately after his declaration. Breisinger's update confirms that the running back will not play in Pitt's upcoming game with East Carolina. Despite injuries affecting him for much of his 2025 season, Reid logged at least 500 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns for a second straight season. 2024 is what will drive his draft stock up. Reid finished the year with 184 carries for 966 yards, 52 receptions for 579 yards and 10 total touchdowns.
