Braxton Woodson - Productive in first start Woodson completed 12 of 19 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 34-20 win versus East Carolina. He also had 15 rushes for 125 yards with two touchdowns. Impact Woodson started his first game of the season Friday with star Blake Horvath (back) out. Woodson played very well, notably through the air as he attempted 19 passes -- more than all but one of Horvath's games -- and threw for 165 yards and a touchdown. He was also very productive on the ground, highlighted by his two touchdown runs in the span of a minute in the fourth quarter. Horvath's status for the Dec. 14 clash at Army is in question, but Woodson proved that he could produce in his absence.
