Impact Willis remains heavily involved for a modern tight end (in part because his actual role in the offense does not reflect a traditional tight end in any fashion). He has 21 catches for 321 yards through five games, and has only been held under 60 yards once.

Kelly caught six passes for 174 yards against Memphis on Saturday, but lost a fumble.
Impact Two games ago, Kelly had nine catches for 239 yards and three scores. Last week, he was held to 12 yards on four catches. It has been a roller coaster of a season for the Auburn transfer. He's clearly the top receiver, but this not a robust offense by any means. Maybe a string of conference games in the consensus worst conference in the FBS will bear fruit.

Wilkins ran five times for 17 yards and had four catches for 15 yards versus Memphis on Saturday.
Impact Wilkins' workload dropped a week after fumbling twice, but MTSU only has so many options. Frank Peasant (undisclosed) feels as likely to not return at all as to return soon, and Jaiden Credle is a lackluster back as well. This offense is really struggling.

Impact After accumulating minus-27 yards rushing, Vattiato now finds himself in the red on that front. He has more turnovers than touchdowns. He has more games with zero touchdowns than multiple touchdowns. Vattiato was not a Derek Mason recruit. His time in the job may be limited.
