Jake Clemons - Catches TD in loss Clemons caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown during Friday's 38-16 loss to Florida Atlantic.
Impact Clemons caught his first touchdown of the season Friday, a 10-yard reception in the third quarter that was the 49ers only touchdown of the game. He also set a career-high with 28 receiving yards. While it was a solid outing for him, he is still firmly behind both Colin Weber and Bryce Kennon in the tight end pecking order.

Terron Kellman - Solid in relief Friday Kellman compiled 20 carries for 83 yards during Friday's 38-16 defeat versus Florida Atlantic.
Impact Kellman took over the 49ers backfield following Shadrick Byrd's injury in the first quarter and had his best outing of the season as a result. He took a whopping 20 carries for a season-high 83 yards and caught his first pass of the season. If Byrd is unable to go next Saturday at Tulsa, Kellman will likely be the bell cow once again.

Trexler Ivey - Splits time with Jones again Ivey completed 8 of 15 passes for 68 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 38-16 loss versus Florida Atlantic.
Impact Ivey once again split time with Jalon Jones after not playing a snap last week for the first time this season. Jones was injured on the first drive of the game but returned shortly after, and the two split snaps for the remainder of the game. Jones was named the starter heading into the game and it finally seemed like the quarterback competition may be over, but Friday's game showed there is no true resolution in sight. After the game, head coach Biff Poggi said both Ivey and Jones were injured during the game, but did not elaborate any further.

Jalon Jones - Rough outing in loss Jones completed 9 of 14 passes for 59 yards during Friday's 38-16 defeat versus Florida Atlantic. He also had 12 rushes for 38 yards.
Impact Jones did not have a great outing Friday after being named the starting quarterback ahead of the game. He was injured on the first drive and came back into the game on the next drive, but then split time with Trexler Ivey like the pair were doing earlier in the season. Part of it can be attributed to the 49ers being in a big deficit and Ivey being a better passer than Jones, but that 49ers find themselves in deficits more often than not. After the game, head coach Biff Poggi said Jones and Ivey were injured during the game, but did not elaborate any further.
