Andrel Anthony - Hits paydirt in win Anthony hauled in all three targets for 51 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 45-17 victory against Elon.
Impact Anthony has had solid seasons in the past for both Michigan and Oklahoma. But he's off to a fantastic start in 2025, already finding the end zone and easily surpassing his production from his one-game season last year. Duke's other receivers, namely Cooper Barkate, Que'Sean Brown and Andrel Anthony, saw more targets and that figures to remain the case. Still, if Anthony can keep making the most of his limited looks, his involvement in the offense could increase.

Sahmir Hagans - Two scores through the air Hagans logged five receptions (on six targets) for 54 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 45-17 win over Elon.
Impact Hagans Made the most of his opportunities, finding the end zone twice in the Week 1 win. Though other Duke receiver saw more targets and accrued more yards (Cooper Barkate, in particular, with eight targets and 117 yards), Hagans cashed in with two touchdowns. In a season where he's supposed to lead the way for the Blue Devils' wideouts, Hagans got off to a great start.

Que'Sean Brown - Almost hits 100 yards Brown caught 6 of 7 targets for 93 yards during Thursday's 45-17 victory against Elon.
Impact Brown broke out last season with Duke and it appears he's well on his way to another excellent year in 2025. What's more, it appears new Duke quarterback Darian Mensah likes throwing Brown the ball, as he saw seven targets, second on the team. Elon was a cupcake opponent, however, and we'll see how the pair look against a ranked Illinois team next week.

Cooper Barkate - Eclipses century mark in win Barkate posted five receptions (on eight targets) for 117 yards during Thursday's 45-17 victory versus Elon.
Impact Barkate was the Blue Devils' leading receiver and favorite option of quarterback Darian Mensah, leading the way with eight targets. The Harvard transfer logged over 1,000 yards last season, but it's encouraging to see those skills translate to Duke. Of course, the Blue Devils played an FCS opponent in Elon, but the early returns on the senior receiver look great.

Jaquez Moore - Bottled up in opener Moore accrued seven carries for 44 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 45-17 victory over Elon.
Impact Moore didn't need to have a big day for Duke to ultimately dominate Elon, but the tailback didn't get all that much going in his somewhat limited action. Anderson Castle, a fellow Blue Devils' tailback, out-gained him on just three carries. Duke didn't need to overwork Moore in the opener, but you'd like to see it let him get into more of a rhythm for him to reach his potential in this backfield. He has a chance to make a big statement next week against ranked Illinois.
