Oscar Hammond - Out against Army Hammond (undisclosed) was held out of North Texas' 14-3 loss to Army on Saturday.
Impact Hammond was listed as a game-time decision prior to kickoff and was clearly downgraded with an undisclosed injury. The junior tight end previously missed the team's Week 8 game against Memphis with an undisclosed injury, though he returned to action the following week against Tulane. It is thus far unknown whether his current ailment is related to the previous issue, but his status will be worth monitoring throughout the week as the Mean Green prepare to face in-state rival UTSA in a road test this coming Friday.

DT Sheffield - Shut down Saturday Sheffield posted four receptions (on six targets) for 31 yards during Saturday's 14-3 defeat to Army.
Impact Sheffield, like everyone else on the Eagles' offense, struggled to get going in Saturday's loss. It was a very difficult matchup versus the elite Black Knights' defense, but two of his teammates still out-gained him. He also saw just six targets, a massive downgrade after averaging 13 across his previous three games. He will look to bounce back Friday at UTSA.

Damon Ward Jr. - Quiet versus Army Ward logged four receptions (on seven targets) for 63 yards during Saturday's 14-3 defeat versus Army.
Impact Ward caught four passes Saturday and gained 63 yards, decent numbers but not what managers would have hoped for after his last outing. However, given the difficult opponent and the fact that Chandler Morris threw for just 214 yards, it was a fine day for Ward. He will hope to bounce back Friday at UTSA.

Chandler Morris - Shut down versus Army Morris completed 24 of 37 passes for 214 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 14-3 loss against Army.
Impact Morris faced a very difficult matchup Saturday and was not able to work his way to a productive outing. He threw for just 214 yards, his second fewest this season, and failed to throw a touchdown pass after throwing multiple in all eight of his starts heading into the game. Next up he faces UTSA on Friday with a good chance to rediscover his form.

Kanye Udoh - 65 yards Saturday Udoh totaled 13 carries for 65 yards during Saturday's 14-3 win versus North Texas.
Impact Just one week after rushing for 158 yards and two touchdowns without Bryson Daily in the lineup, Udoh came back down to earth as Daily returned to the field. Udoh received a solid workload of 13 carries, but it paled in comparison to Daily's 36. Udoh still has a fairly high floor, but his ceiling is limited with Daily at quarterback.
