Memphis’ Kuran Iverson suspended for violation of team rules

Memphis guard/forward Kuran Iverson will miss two games while serving a suspension.

Memphis guard/forward Kuran Iverson has been suspended for a violation of team rules.

Memphis athletic department spokesman Lamar Chance said Tuesday that Iverson will miss the Tigers’ next two games. Memphis (8-5, 1-1 American) is at SMU on Thursday and at Houston on Sunday.

Iverson, a 6-foot-9 sophomore, has played in eight games this season and averaged 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds.
