ATLANTA (AP) Georgia Tech and UCLA will open the 2017-18 men's basketball season in China.

The announcement was made in the lead-up to Saturday's Pac-12 China Game, in which Stanford takes on Harvard at Shanghai.

New Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner calls the game ''an incredible opportunity for our players and coaches to experience something they'll remember for the rest of their lives from a cultural and educational standpoint.''
