OTTAWA, Ontario -- Highly touted free-agent goaltender Matt O'Connor has come to terms with the Ottawa Senators, signing a two-year deal with the maximum bonuses allowed on an entry-level contract.

O'Connor helped Boston University reach the NCAA national championship game and had offers from several NHL teams. O'Connor went 25-4-4 with a 2.18 goals-against average and .927 save percentage this season.

The Senators add the 23-year-old O'Connor to their mix of goaltenders.
