Packers RB Starks records first multi-TD game of his NFL career
James Starks has been a reliable running back for the Green Bay Packers since his rookie season, when he emerged as a viable ball-carrier during the team's 2010 Super Bowl run. Since then, he has served as one of Green Bay's most valuable reserves.
Against the San Diego Chargers in Week 6, Starks was on top of his game. First, he gave the Packers an early, 7-0 lead on a five-yard reception. Then, later in the first half, the 29-year-old running back broke free for a 65-yard touchdown.

The impressive touchdown sprint was Starks' longest carry of his career. It also marked his first career game with more than one touchdown, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
Before Sunday, Starks had not scored a touchdown this season. His performance against the Chargers is an encouraging sign for Green Bay's ground game, especially since starting running back Eddie Lacy has struggled to get much going this year.
