Jets TE pulls off wild circus catch

The New York Jets usually don't have this sort of thing work out in their favor, but Monday night was different.

Tight end Jeff Cumberland put his name in the hat for bizarro catch of the year with an early play where he caught a pass, coughed it up, had it bounce off a defender up into the air and then he dove and caught it before it hit the ground.

Just watch:

The Jets rode the positive momentum to a field goal on the drive, giving them a 3-0 lead over the Atlanta Falcons.

Even better, they won 30-28. Are we sure this was really the Jets?
