Will Barton went off against his former team

Denver Nuggets guard Will Barton spent the first two and a half years of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers before being traded in a deal for Arron Afflalo.
Portland probably wishes they never made that trade now.
Barton seems like the favorite to win Sixth Man of the Year at this point in the season, and he's in the running along with Blazers SG C.J. McCollum for Most Improved Player of the year as well.
In a matchup against his former team, Barton made it clear that he's a keeper now. Here's more on his performance from NBA.com:
"Will Barton, traded by Portland to Denver last season, led the Nuggets with 31 points, one off his season high. Barton hit four 3-pointers and made 12 of 22 shots from the field."
With the way Barton is playing and with Afflalo only staying in Portland for just a few short months last season, this trade for Denver is looking like one of the most lopsided deals of recent memory.
